Artist Statement
It is difficult to decipher the true meaning of artistic expression. For me, art is more than a mere collaboration of hue and swift strokes of a paintbrush; it is the evolution of an expression that can either be determined universal or personal in theme. Art is the internal abstraction of individual thought and is valued by its visual presentation. Throughout my life, art has been availed as a method of channeling my emotions and has been utilized as a process of my intellectual growth. Ever since I was a child, my mother has encouraged and motivated me to pursue art as both a career option and a way to conduct my creative flow. Consequently, I have continued to involve myself in art courses and I have created a portfolio which I am determined to develop and improve continuously throughout my life.
